LIBERTY LAKE, Wash.-- Two men were rushed to the hospital early Thursday after a high speed wreck in Liberty Lake.

Authorities said driver Dereck Collinson, 31, and passenger Corey Bramble, 29, were traveling westbound on I-90 around 12:30 a.m. when they turned off on Exit 296.  Collinson went through a stop sign at Harvard Road and continued on Mission Avenue.  Washington State Patrol said Collinson lost control of his car near the Bitteroot Apartments while rounding a curve in the road.

The car rolled several times before coming to rest and Collinson was ejected in the process.  Both he and Bramble were rushed to Sacred Heart Medical Center for their injuries.  Investigators said Collinson was not wearing a seatbelt but Bramble was wearing his.

The cause of the crash is under investigation and charges are pending.
