SPOKANE, Wash.--A Spokane man was the victim of a home invasion that left his dog dead on Tuesday night.
The victim said men wearing bandanas broke into his home near E. Hoffman Avenue and N. Division. He said the men threatened him with a pistol. He said his baby daughter and his boxer were home at the time.
“All I heard were some loud bangs. They killed my dog,” said the victim. “I've had her ever since she was a puppy. She was our family dog.”
The victim requested to not be identified for his own safety and for the safety of his baby.
“They were just demanding things I didn't have. In the process, they shot my dog,” said the victim.
The gunmen remained on the loose on Wednesday night. The victim described them as wearing white tee shirts and jeans. He said their faces were covered with bandanas.
