According to detectives, Vega was believed to have lived at an address in Tijuana, Mexico.  Vega crossed into the United States at San Ysidro, California on September 24th, 2013, police said. People she was with told people she was going to the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Vega never made it. Investigators said they were not certain who Vega may have been with at the time.
