SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office tracked down a stolen car which had a specialized car seat for a Cerebral Palsy patient.
Authorities said the vehicle was parked at 2718 N. Bowdish Road and was taken sometime between 6:30 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The specialized seat was for a 9-year-old boy and had been donated by the Shriners Hospital. The seat is the only way the family can transport the boy in the car.
Authorities later located the car and specialized seat near Napa and Liberty later Tuesday morning. The family was able to drive the car home. Authorities do not have any suspects in the case.
