SPOKANE, Wash.—Police said a driver ran a blinking red light early Friday which ultimately caused a crash in Spokane.

Police said it happened just after 6 A.M. when the driver was heading north on Lincoln when they ran the red light.  A car heading east on third ended up hitting the car.  That sent the car into the side of Molly’s Restaurant.  No one was inside the restaurant at the time.

The driver who ran the red light was cited for failure to obey traffic laws.

No major injuries were reported.  Some damage was done to the side of the building.
