Driver sent to hospital after Argonne crash

SPOKANE, Wash. -- One driver was loaded into an ambulance after a crash on icy Argonne Road Thursday morning.

The collision happened near the intersection of Argonne and E. Bigelow Gulch  Road.  Authorities said a Ford Taurus spun out into oncoming traffic and was hit by a truck.

The driver of the Taurus was sent to the hospital.

All northbound traffic on Argonne was at a standstill Thursday morning.  Southbound traffic was slowed to a single lane.
