SPOKANE, Wash.—Newly released court documents showed that a kidnapping and murder victim, David Whitman, was bound with duct tape and rope or wire in early March.
Documents also showed Whitman was shot multiple times in the back and arms.
Domingo Valdovinos Navarro appeared in court in early March for allegedly murdering David Whitman. He pointed the finger at his uncle Benito Baldovinos Mendoza as being the killer according to court documents.

Six people have been arrested in connection with Whitman's murder, including Valdovinos Navarro Detectives said Wednesday to expect charges against the other five suspects.
Valdovinos Navarro told detective Corey Turman he has been kidnapped and tortured by his uncle in the past, according to court documents.
Court records stated Valdovinos Navarro claimed it was Baldovinos-Mendoza who shot and bound Whitman inside a home and in some woods near Long Lake. Valdovinos Navarro said he saw his uncle carry Whitman over his shoulder. Documents showed he told detectives he heard 'several shots' seconds later. Valdovinos Navarro also claimed his uncle retrieved a gas can and set the victim on fire.
