COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho -- The old owners of Conkling Resort and Marina on Lake Coeur d'Alene say the resort will open as scheduled.
The Kirkpatrick family sold the resort a couple years ago to a company that later went bankrupt.
Many people who moor boats or RV's at the resort haven't paid for the summer because of legal problems surrounding the resort.
The Kirkpatrick's say they are ready to take over the resort again. They have set up a court approved receivership account to take deposits and payments.
