COEUR D'ALENE-- One of Coeur d’Alene’s most popular events kicked off Saturday.
The 27th annual Wooden Boat Show features wooden and classic boats, and gives participants a behind-the-scenes look at how those boats are built.
“Why do we build them out of wood? It’s that they’re so romantic looking, and tradition. People just love the look. They’re literally pieces of furniture,” designer Jerry Gilbreath said.
Coeur d’Alene Resort hosted the event.
The free show wraps up Sunday.
