SPOKANE, Wash.-- The Spokane City Council was scheduled to vote Monday night whether to formally hire a new chief for the Spokane Police Department.
If voted in, Frank Straub will take over as the police chief. However, he cannot be given the title of police chief until he meets some state law enforcement requirements.
Straub was tentatively scheduled to start work Monday, September 17.
