SPOKANE, Wash. — Clouds are expected to burn off Thursday allowing the sun to make a brief appearance and forcing temperatures to plummet.
Snow that fell Wednesday is expected to stick around because temperatures are expected to remain in the low 20’s to upper teens before dipping below zero overnight in some places.
However, the wind chill factor will make it temperatures feel colder.
Some small snow flurries could hit the region in places Thursday but should be gone by the afternoon.
For the weekend, temperatures should continue to drop even lower with highs in the low teens and low temperatures below zero.
Temperatures rebound by the start of next week rising back up in the 20’s in most places.
