SPOKANE, Wash-- Douglas Carlile’s business partner James Henrikson, whose North Dakota home was raided Wednesday, had a long criminal history in Oregon. Court documents link Henrikson to Carlile’s murder in December.

James Henrikson was listed in several court documents related to Carlile’s murder that connected him and Douglas Carlile to the oil industry in North Dakota.
His criminal record also included ten serious crimes in Deshutes County, OR. Most of them were between the years 2000 and 2001.
Records show Henrikson pleaded guilty and was charged in many of the cases, which, included crimes such as theft and growing marijuana.
Henrikson’s most serious charge was for rape, though he was not convicted according to court documents. A woman whose name appeared in that case was also listed in a child support case.
A request for more information on James Henrikson’s criminal history returned a total of ten mugshots.
Despite being listed in numerous court documents, Spokane Police have not named Henrikson as a suspect in the Douglas Carlile murder.
