SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - A car backed into a woman in a Spokane Valley convenience store parking lot and the collision sent her to a hospital with head injuries.
A Spokane County Sheriff's Office spokesperson called the 5:20 p.m. Saturday incident a " very slow speed" collision.
A woman was backing her Kia Spectrum out of a stall in the parking lot of the Tesoro To Go store along Trent and Fancher and hit a 49-year-old woman walking behind her.
The woman was unable to keep her balance and fell to the ground, striking her head. A Spokane Valley police officer on scene said alcohol played a factor in the fall.
No citations were issued.
