SPOKANE VALLEY-- Honks of support kept Sergeant Eric Hanson going on day three of his weeklong stay on a scissor lift.

Hanson plans to live on the scissor lift for eight days, 20 feet off the ground. He is braving the cold and snow to raise money and awareness for homeless veterans. The money he raises will go the Guardians Foundation.

On Sunday, Erik was joined by Betty Sprague, and other veterans who are utilizing services of The Guardians Foundation. The organization picked Sprague up from a parking lot in July and arranged a place for her to stay.

Despite the chilly temperatures, Hanson vows to stay at his post on Trent at Cheap Shots parking lot until 5:00 p.m. Friday.
