COEUR D'ALENE -- A 100,000 pound cabin floated only a quarter of a mile down Lake Coeur d'Alene Tuesday to its new location.

Movers say the cabin's owner lives along Windy Bay, on the western edge of Lake Coeur d'Alene. A neighbor building a multi-million dollar home next door bought the land the cabin sits on.

The two-story log cabin was lifted off its foundation, put on a small barge, and pushed by a tugboat about a quarter of a mile down the lake.  A crew from Kalispell, Montana, headed the project.
