SAGLE, Idaho -- In north Idaho, hundreds of people were still without power Monday night following last week’s storm.

Many of the outages were in Bonner County. One of the hardest hit areas was Garfield Bay on Lake Pend Oreille.

The owner of Green Door Coffee, Israel Gonzalez, was on his sixth day without power Monday.

A line went down right next to his shop and he also had some damage to the electrical system of his house as well.

Other businesses in Garfield Bay got power back on Sunday, but not Gonzalez. The outage also hit him financially because its tourism season.

“This is when I make my killing, yeah. This is what pays for things to go forward. It gets us through the whole season. It’s what pays the bills,” said Gonzalez.

Power was expected to be turned back on at his shop by Monday or Tuesday. He said he plans on opening his doors as soon as he can.
