SPOKANE, Wash.-- A slow moving brush fire crept dangerously close to homes in a West Spokane neighborhood late Sunday.
Crews worked to take down the half-acre fire and protect a handful of homes near Buena Vista Drive and Woodland Boulevard around midnight.
Emergency crews managed to get a handle on the fire quickly. No structures were damaged and the cause was not released.
