SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash.-- Authorities said a wreck Tuesday morning is a good reminder for parents to talk to their children about crossing the road.
Around 8 a.m., Spokane Valley Police said a young boy darted into traffic on his way to school near Park and Sinto. A driver did not have enough time to stop, and hit the boy.
Medics said the boy suffered some scratches and possible bruising on his head.
Police said the driver was not at fault and they did not ticket them. They also added there was no sidewalk on that stretch of road.
