BONNERS FERRY--The Bonners Ferry Police Department searched a home in Bonners Ferry following the theft investigation from the Kootenai river Inn.
Officers searched the house on January 13. They recovered several items believed to have been stolen from the Inn, along with marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a sizable amount of methamphetamine that was packaged in individual bags with scales, in what appeared to be a distribution kit.
Other items that had been reported stolen from another state were also found, according to officers.
Several people were at the house at the time it was searched. An ambulance had to be called for a 17-year-old that was initially found unresponsive by the officers. The teenager eventually came to while being examined by the EMT’s and was released to a parent.
Two adult males were arrested. They both had a Spokane address listed. One was booked on a fugitive warrant and the other for possession of stolen property.
Additional charges are pending following the completion of the investigation.
