SPOKANE, Wash.--Blood donations are urgently needed at the Inland Northwest Blood Center.

INBC employees said their blood supply is less than one day's worth. They urged individuals who are healthy and able to give blood to do so as donations continue to be below average.

Employees said INBC aims to be stocked with 200 blood units a day during cold and flu season.

All blood types are needed, especially negative blood types and people willing to donate platelets.
