Medical Examiner needs help identifying Spokane River body

SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office asked for help Wednesday to identify a woman found in the Spokane River earlier this month.

Authorities said the woman was found Jan. 10 on the south side of the river near E. Empire and Butler.

The woman was described as having dark brown to black hair color with some gray.  She was 144 pounds and about 5’2” tall.  She was wearing a green sweater and black sweatpants with a red waistband.  No jewelry was found on the body, according to the Medical Examiner.
