MALDEN, Wash. -- Whitman County authorities have three people in custody for their alleged involvement in the death of a missing Malden teenager.
Donavin Stapert, 17, was reported missing on March 8th.
Investigators said on Monday that they now believe Stapert died at a home in Malden on or about the 7th of March. Stapert’s body was later moved to an undisclosed location according to authorities.
Whitman County Sheriff’s deputies took James Larry Ramson (30) and Chastity Dawn Barkhuff (38).
Ramson was booked on charges of Unlawful Disposal of Human Remains, Rendering Criminal Assistance and Possession of Methamphetamine. Barkhuff has been booked on charges of Controlled Substance Homicide, Providing a Controlled Substance to Persons Under Age 18 and Rendering Criminal Assistance according to deputies.
Montana authorities arrested Bobby Bilderback, 44, into custody. Whitman County authorities had previously obtained a warrant for his arrest and worked in conjunction with the Missoula Police Department to bring Bilderback into custody.
