SPOKANE, Wash. -- Police arrested a suspect in a shooting at the Lion's Lair pub in Downtown Spokane.

Detectives requested Andre R. Hallman, 23, be charged with two counts of First Degree Assault for the shooting.

Authorities said Hallman was arrested Friday evening driving near the intersection of Lyons and Nevada. According to police, he was taken into custody by SPD's Patrol Anti-Crime Team (PACT) without incident and booked into the Spokane County Jail.

Police said they started getting calls around 1:45 a.m. Thursday about shots fired at Lion's Lair. Officers found two bullet holes in the front window of the bar and a bouncer who had been shot, investigators said.

According to officials, the bouncer had earlier ejected two patrons from the bar. The same patrons returned a short time later, said investigators, and opened fire from outside.

The bouncer was still recovering Saturday from wounds in the leg and stomach.
