NAMPA -- Nampa Police are asking for the public's help in locating the man who robbed a local convenience store Sunday evening.
Around 9:30 p.m. a male adult entered the Jackson Food Store at 100 Caldwell Blvd. in Nampa and ordered the elderly male to the ground. The suspect displayed a handgun and ordered the store clerk to put money from the register in a bag, and then he fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a young male with light complexion, wearing flip-flop sandals, dark knee-length shorts, and a bathrobe. He concealed his face with a bandanna and a “hoodie” sweatshirt covering his head. Witnesses believe he is 16-19 years old and approximately 5-foot-6 with a thin build.
Detectives say if you spot the suspect - do not approach him. He is considered armed and potentially dangerous.
