The FAA released transcripts Friday from the Northwest Airlines flight that overflew Minneapolis. The audio reveals air traffic controllers asking the crew about what happened, and whether they had enough fuel. Northwest Flight 188 missed Minneapolis and flew over Wisconsin before the pilots realized they were out of contact and landed safely.

After a few minutes of directions about routes and altitudes, the pilots were asked by a flight controller ``Do you have time to give a brief explanation on what happened?''.

Flight 188 pilot responds ``Cockpit distractions that's all I can say".

A few minutes after contact had been re-established, the same controller asks "is there any way you can elaborate on the distraction?"

The pilot said that they were dealing with some company issues, and ``that's all all I can tell you right now at this time.''
