The Snohomish County Sheriff's office is asking for help in finding a 14-year-old developmentally disabled girl who went missing Wednesday.

Elizabeth Harwood left her home in the 500 block of D Avenue in Snohomish around noon to bike to a friend's house. She never arrived at that destination.

Family members searched for her for three hours and then called police to report her missing. Snohomish County Police Department is conducting a search of the area, along with help from the Search and Rescue Unit. So far, authorities have no leads where she might be.

Harwood is described as 5"6" tall, 215 pounds with brown hair and shoulder-length curly hair. She was last seen wearing a yellow green and blue striped t-shirt with khaki pants. She was riding a white bike with peace sign stickers.

Anyone with information about her is asked to call 911 immediately.
