COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho—The North Idaho College Foundation launched its 21st Really BIG Raffle Thursday.
More than $300,000 in prizes, including a car, boat, vacation package and shopping spree were at stake.
The 2014 grand prize was a 2,000 square-foot, three bedroom house at Syringa Park in Post Falls, worth $265,000. Features included vaulted ceilings, a large master suite with a tiled shower, a separate office, skylights and a three-car garage with additional RV parking.
Only 5,000 tickets were issued to be sold for $100 by phone, online or at the following locations in North Idaho:
-Super 1 Foods
-Trading Company Stores in Post Falls
-Stein’s Family Foods
-Stock Building Supply
-Lake City Ford
-The NIC Workforce Training Center
-The NIC Foundation Office on the main Coeur d’Alene campus.
The drawing was scheduled for July 9th, but the first people to purchase tickets would get a chance to win additional prizes.
The raffle was sponsored by Stock Building Supply and Washington Trust Bank.
The NIC Foundation partners with donors to invest in the NIC, students and employees to provide access to educational opportunities.
