Mr. (Malcolm) Smith goes to Washington – along with the rest of the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks to meet the President Barack Obama next week.

The NFL champions have been invited to the White House for a photo opportunity with the president on Wednesday, May 21. It’s a time-honored tradition for championship teams to visit with the president.

It will be the second trip to D.C. in less than a month for Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and cornerback Richard Sherman. Both attended the White House Correspondent’s Dinner on May 3. President Obama used the opportunity to paraphrase Sherman’s classic post-NFC Championship Game rant during the dinner.
