POST FALLS, Idaho -- The Post Falls Police Department found a previously missing Post Falls couple on Monday. Police said the couple, Ray "Blaise" and Suzi Koep, was at home and doing well.
Police said a relative received a call from the couple on Monday afternoon. The couple been driving near Avery, Idaho on a road to St. Regis when their car became stuck and high centered on some snow, according to police. Police added the couple spent the night in their car Sunday and were able to dig themselves out Monday morning. The couple called family as soon as they were within cell phone service, according to police.
Ray “Blaise”, and Suzi Koep were last seen Sunday morning at their home in Post Falls. Relatives said the couple may have gone to Shoshone County because they like to take drives on river roads.
Authorities said there were indications, such as diabetes medicine that was left at home, that couple did not plan on being gone for an extended period of time.
The couple’s vehicle was described as a blue 2014 Chevy Silverado pickup with Idaho plates K531.
Blaise is a 70-year-old white man, 5’11’, 250 pounds, with a bald head and brown eyes.
Suzi is a 66-year-old white woman, 5’9”, 150 pounds, with blond hair and hazel eyes.
