SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spokane Police arrested a suspect who tried to run after being pulled over for reckless driving.

Around midnight Sunday, officers saw a Dodge Durango driving recklessly in the area of Crestline and Buckeye. Police said the driver stopped and fled on foot near Perry and Baldwin after hitting an unoccupied car.

Officers were able to take Daniel Comer, 24, into custody several blocks away.

Comer was arrested for Attempt to Elude, Driving Under the Influence, Hit and Run Unattended, and Driving While License Suspended First Degree.
