COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho -- Road crews in North Idaho are making changes to streets near the Coeur d’Alene Resort.
Crews are working on a variety of projects in Downtown Coeur d’Alene. The resort is working on a $1 million plan to improve access on the Centennial Trail between City Beach and McEuen Park. Front Street between Second and Third will eventually be closed off to traffic.
Then, work will be done to change a two-block stretch of Third Street from a one-way to a two-way street.
City leaders said they understand the construction can be a pain and they appreciate everyone’s patience.
Work at the resort should be done by mid-May. Third Street should be back open to traffic in a couple weeks.
City leaders said McEuen Park is expected to reopen by Memorial Day.
