SPOKANE, Wash. -- School officials at University High School sent a letter to parents Thursday about a possible bomb threat written in a school bathroom stall.
School leaders said the threat claimed that the attack would happen at the school on Tuesday, March 4.
School leaders have been working with law enforcement to complete an investigation into the threat. Law enforcement has not been able to verify the credibility of the treat, according to school officials.
All staff members have been told about the threat and will be watching for anything that appears to be out of the ordinary. School staff said law enforcement would do a sweep of the school with a bomb detection canine before school Tuesday morning.
There will also be increased patrols in and around the school.
The school plans to operate as normal on March 4.
