SPOKANE, Wash. -- A Spokane man battling an aggressive form of leukemia is recovering from a bone marrow transplant he received Thursday morning.

Joey McClure, 31, has been through several rounds of high intensity chemotherapy. Doctors told him he needed a bone marrow transplant and his siblings and close friends took the test to see if they were a match. His sister turned out to be a perfect match.
