OTHELLO, Wash. -- One of the hardest hit areas by Sunday night’s storm was Othello, Washington.

Many people spent Monday cleaning up after the storm. The Blank family had a tree in his backyard fall on his house. Another one of their trees landed on utility lines causing the pole to snap and a transformer landed on their shed.

The Blank’s home sits next to Kiwanis Park. Workers spent the day chopping up trees and fixing power poles.  A couple miles away at Lion’s Park three large trees were uprooted.

A group of Mormon missionaries and neighborhood kids showed up Monday to help clean up the mess.
