PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Grove Apartment fire investigation wrapped up on Friday.

Fire investigators said the fire is the largest and most complicated fire Pullman has experienced in the last 30 years.

Lead investigator Rich Dragoo of the Pullman Fire Department said the crew was done with the site Friday after going through all the debris since Monday.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Department has been assisting by mapping the site where an arson dog got “hits” on Tuesday. After the mapping is completed, the scene will be turned back to construction workers so they can start reconstruction at a later date.

Police officers and fire investigators will interview eye witnesses to the fire and employees of the construction company to better understand the conditions at the site. Authorities also continue to search for who/what caused the fire.
