SEA-TAC, Wash. -- Travel at Sea-Tac was disrupted Tuesday night due to a breach incident.
Airport spokesman Perry Cooper said someone went into a secure area through a exit around 7:30 p.m.
TSA officials and members of the Port of Seattle Police Department began searching for the individual and located him just before 9 p.m.
Port of Seattle police cleared the C, D and Central terminal concourses out of an abundance of caution and passengers were taken back through check points so that they could be re-screened.
As a result, many outbound flights were delayed.
The airport has since resumed normal operations around 9:30 p.m. The investigation is currently under review.
