VANCOUVER – Investigators arrested one suspect and are looking for another in a robbery and kidnapping Wednesday in Vancouver where a victim was shot multiple times, police said.

Vancouver shooting victim staggered 1 mile for help

On Friday night, 22-year-old Joanna Speaks of Vancouver was arrested with the help of the SWAT Team and booked in the Clark County Jail on charges of attempted murder, kidnapping and robbery, said Sgt. Creager with the Vancouver Police Department.

Police are looking for 19-year-old Pedro Godinez Jr. (pictured) who is the second suspect in the case.

Godinez Jr. is a Hispanic man with closely shaved black hair and brown eyes. He is 5-foot-10 and 220 pounds. His tattoos include “Mariana” on the right side of his head, “Monica” on the right side of his neck, “Baby” on his right forearm, and “Silent” on his left forearm.

Godinez Jr. is considered armed and dangerous, Creager said.

On Wednesday night, the victim of the attack managed to walk about a mile through the forest for help, covered in blood, until he found some people who were able to come to his assistance near Kadow's Marina in Vancouver. Surveillance video from the marina shows the man staggering across the street and then pleading for help.

Investigators said the victim told them he went to east Vancouver, where he was kidnapped. Then, the suspect took him to Vancouver Lake Park where he robbed and shot him before stealing his car.

The suspects fled in the victim's 2012 black Nissan Sentra. It has a temporary plate in the window and license plate frames from Beaverton Nissan.

The victim has not been identified but authorities said he is recovering in the hospital.
