Spokane starts full-city plow after the city receives several inches of snowfall

City officials said it could take three days to complete the work.

SPOKANE, Wash. -- The city of Spokane said it is implementing a full-city plow to clean the streets in the city.

Spokane saw several inches of snow Friday. There were dozens of crashes across the city.

Crews are going to work 24/7 to clean the streets. Officials said it could take three days, if more snow does not fall.

City crews are using this plow route map to complete the work. Vehicles should be parked on the odd side of the street in residential areas so plows can work. Crews are also trying to clean up the sidewalks.

Meanwhile, the city is asking people to help clean off their driveways and walkways, clearing a 36-inch area so pedestrians can walk by 9:00 a.m. after the snow stops falling.
