SPOKANE, Wash. -- Warmer temperatures are moving into the Inland Northwest as this week continues. Wednesday afternoon highs are expected in the mid 40s. There is a possibility of some early morning fog for Wednesday, but should burn off early as temperatures increase and the sun comes out.

But there is some wet weather on the way. Thursday morning and afternoon could bring moderate rain all around Eastern Washington and North Idaho. If it comes in the early morning hours, it may come in the form of snow at first, and then transition into rain as temperatures warm up.

Most areas will see maximum accumulations of an inch of snow, or see exclusively rain. It will begin late Wednesday night and into Thursday morning.

Besides this small wet weather moving through, 50 degree temperatures are expected as early as Sunday. Next week could continue with that warm up, with mid 50s by Wednesday of next week.

With Spring 2 weeks away, it looks like the final days of winter are coming to an end.
