Tavares Martin Jr. dismissed from WSU football team

Martin Jr. is now the second wide receiver who has left the team after Isaiah Johnson-Mack announced his intentions to transfer after the season ended.

SPOKANE, Wash. — A Washington State official confirmed to KREM2 that junior wide receiver Tavares Martin Jr. has been dismissed from the team for violating team rules.

Martin Jr. is now the second wide receiver who has left the team after Isaiah Johnson-Mack announced his intentions to transfer after the season ended.

Martin Jr. led the team with 70 receptions, 831 yards and 11 touchdowns. He led WSU in all three of those categories. He totaled 150 career catches with 1,683 receiving yards and 19 scores.

Tavares Martin Jr. took to twitter to deny any wrongdoing. Seems to be confused on what team rules he violated.
