SPOKANE, Wash. – How sweet it is! No. 4 seed Gonzaga men will play the the No. 9 seed Florid State on Thursday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The Sweet 16 field is set after a roller coaster ride of an opening weekend in the NCAA Tournament. Only two No. 1 seeds, Villanova and Kansas, remaind after Xavier joined Virginia as upset victims.
FSU beat the No. 1 seed Xavier Sunday night with a score 75 to 70.
The Zags will take on Florida State on TBS at 7:00 p.m. PST.
The winner of the game will move on to the Elite Eight, played on Saturday.
