No long lines waiting for Star Wars fans ahead of new movie premiere

In a galaxy far, far away... long lines greeted Star Wars fans. Now, that's not the case.

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- The latest Star Wars movie premieres Thursday night.

Usually, long lines generally form ahead of a Star Wars movie debut. Here in the Inland Northwest ahead of the premiere, that was not the case.

When theaters got rid of midnight premieres, the long waiting lines went away along with them.

Tickets for the showing went on sale months ago, so many people were able to buy a ticket ahead of time.

Kyndal Gottberg was in line waiting for the movie three hours ahead of the premiere. Kyndal says she showed up so early because she wanted a middle row seat.

For show times and tickets, check with your local theater.
