Believe it or not, just a few dollars can transform your home decor!  Jessica grabbed a can of spray paint and went crazy.  Here's what she wrote:

"I had a moment where I looked around my house and needed a change!  It has to be frugal, easy and fab, of course!  I loved my candle holders at the entrance to my home but they were 12-years-old and needed to be updated.  I picked up some spray paint and went to town!"

"I had never spray painted anything until this past weekend (embarrassing, I know).  Once I started, I couldn't stop and I transformed several pieces.  The platter I spray painted was my first.  It didn't take long to realize that spray painting is easy and great for transforming anything for pennies!  I love that!"

"I used Krylon Brushed Nickel in a satin finish that I found it at my local craft store for the metal-work.  I love this color because it looks like pewter silver with a matte finish.  I used Krylon Pebble and American gel stain in walnut for the pottery.

Test the color of the spray paint on something else to be sure it is the color you want.  I'm so glad I tested it because at first I had bought a metallic silver and did not like that at all."

"This was a plain glass bowl I sprayed with Krylon Mirror Looking Glass.  It gave it a totally different look!  I will definitely do this again. Check out this article if you are looking how to create the mercury glass look."

"Now I have given some home decor a new feeling.  This was a frugal way to change things up.  We'll see what's next because I have more inspiration left inside of me!

Tip: Wear gloves to protect your hands.  If you're not a fan wearing gloves (me neither), Lava soap works great to take the paint off your hands!"
