Ever have one of those month's when everything comes crashing down on you? It is amazing how one thing can break in your house and suddenly two more things break at the same time. Not cool. But, before you panic and pull out the credit cards, take a quick look around your house. It is likely that you have items just sitting around gathering dust that could earn you cash right now.

{10 Things You Can Sell for Cash}

1. Tulip Rings: Yep, the old school 'we just had to have it' tulip rings. If your ring is real gold or sterling silver, you can earn cash!

2. One Gold/Silver Earring: Do you ever dig through your jewelry box only to find that half your earrings have disappeared? You can actually sell the real gold or sterling silver earrings and earn money.

3. Old Coins: I have a coin collection. Ok, I HAD a coin collection. Yes, folks, I am a nerd. I used to collect coins as a kid and as it turns out, those can be sold too. If you have silver coins from 1964 or earlier, you can turn those into real money. Coins minted prior to 1964 were actually made of 90% silver which can now be easily sold for profit!

4. Silverware: As in, real silver-ware. If you have old silverware that was passed down from a family member, it might be time to see what it's worth! You could be surprised. Of course, it has to be real so be sure to check for that.

5. Work Pins & Rings: Did your former workplace commemorate occasions by giving you pins or rings? Well, if you're not all that attached, then those items could bring you some cash. I have a friend of mine, who will remain nameless, who sold all of her old pins from work. She ended up making a couple hundred dollars off of them! Who knew they were actually real?

6. Candlesticks: If you have silver candlesticks stored up in the attic somewhere, you might want to see how much you can get! If you aren't sure if they are real or not, well, it never hurts to take them in and find out.

7. Class Rings: Ok, the last time I posted about this, a few folks were not so happy. Here's the thing, I did not wear my class ring. Ever. I'm sure I wore it for at least a week after I bought it (or my parents bought it) but that was it. It had no sentimental value for me especially since I've spent the last 14 years or so trying to recover from high school. I sold it. I made real money. I walked away happy. Just think about it.

8. Rope Necklaces: Do you remember those rope-like gold necklaces that were oh-so-popular? I had several of them and guess what? I sold those too!  Dig through the jewelry boxes and see if you can find one!

9. Broken Watches: If you happen to be someone who buys real gold or silver watches then this one is for you. Grab those broken watches and sell them! Seriously, if it's real then it is worth money.

10. Charms: Charm bracelets were all the rage when I was growing up. I had several charms that I bought with my babysitting money that were real sterling silver. I decided to take those in as well and get some cash. It wasn't mega money but it all adds up in the end!

The bottom line, you likely have broken or old gold & silver items laying around your house that could bring you some real cash. I scored nearly $700 from broken jewelry and stuff that I would have considered junk. That is a ton of money and it really helped out our Summer vacation.

This post is simply good information for you to use when trying to make extra cash by selling gold or silver. This is NOT a sponsored post by any company. In saying that, I do want to mention that I did take my items to Tulsa Gold & Gems (91st & Yale) and for me, they have been the best to work with. If you do not live in this area, you can go online at WeAreGoldBuyers.com and order a gold kit to send your items via mail.

If you would like to visit Tulsa Gold & Gems at 91st & Yale, be sure to print this rockin' coupon and you'll score a $50 Walmart gift card when you sell $250 or more. You're running to your closet right now aren't you? Yep, I knew it. Clean out those jewelry boxes and go make some extra cash!
