Cherish's Entry:

Date night doesn't necessarily have to occur at nighttime. My fiance and I have been together for nearly seven years, and we have found that simplicity is what makes our lives rich. For a fun date, we like to grab our favorite board game (scrabble) a picnic blanket, and load up our picnic basket with sandwiches, cheese and crackers (wheat crackers purchased at The Dollar Tree, and cheese from either ALDI or Whole Foods).
Then we head to the River Parks or Woodward Park to enjoy nature and eat slowly, taking in all of the joys of a good cheese on a nice day.
Next, we like to drive (or depending on the weather, rent a bike for free with the use of a credit card on Riverside at the St John's bike rental stations) to River City Trading Post in Jenks and browse the many booths set up by locals with all sorts of wares.
We have found all of the necessary items for our centerpieces at our wedding here, and it is always exciting to share our finds with each other. There are many times when we walk out empty handed as far as purchases go, but we have so many fond memories of searching and finding treasures together.
Our word would be 'simplicity'.
