Once you start tracking the sales, you will quickly notice you can get name brand products cheaper than generic products. In some cases, just by adding coupons, you could score your items completely free!
Every single time I hold a workshop, someone always makes a point to say that generic prices are always better. That is simply not true if you are using the strategic shopping method. This method combines as many savings as possible onto one item. This combination of sales, coupons, rewards, etc will help you beat the generic price every single time.
In saying that, of course there are moments when you are couponless and just need to buy a certain product in which case, generic would work just fine. I'm only saying if you are truly shopping strategically, buying name brands with the combination of sales and coupons will always land you the best deal!
