SPOKANE, Wash. - A shop in downtown Spokane this holiday season is helping families in need.
The Santa Express shop in River Park Square is on the second floor of the mall and all the proceeds go from the store to the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.

The shop has two sections: the Santa Express Boutique for adults and the kids side. The boutique is filled with specialty items that would be great gifts or stocking stuffers. The kids side has volunteer elves that help children pick out their presents and wrap them.

“When you come into the store, you’ll be greeted by an elf volunteer who will help you write up your shopping list and walk you through the process,” explained Hayley Lydig, from Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery. “Then an elf will get paired up with your child to help them learn about math, staying on budget and steer them in the right direction towards their gifts to make sure your 4-year-old doesn’t pick out a dinosaur for his grandma.”

Gifts range from $0.50 to $8. They still need volunteers, so if you would like to get involved, click here.
