SPOKANE, Wash.--Honor Flight took another set of World War II veterans to Washington, D.C. on Thursday.

The Thursday flight is the first of 2013 for Inland Northwest Honor Flight. Volunteers take the veterans on a chartered flight to Washington, D.C. to see the war memorials built in their honor.

Honor Flight returns to Spokane International Airport on Friday, May 17th at 6:50 p.m. Supporters are asked to gather at the Alaska Airlines’ baggage claim to welcome the veterans home.
