SPOKANE-- Tons of people turned out Friday evening to welcome 34 WWII veterans home from Honor Flight.
The flight was set to arrive around 6:30 p.m. Friday evening at Spokane International Airport.
The group left Wednesday morning on a trip to Washington, D.C.
The 34 WWII veterans get to see the memorial built in their honor.
In addition to the WWII veterans, the trip was dedicated to Jerrod Lallier. The former Mead
High School student was killed in Afghanistan in June at the age of 20.
