Coeur d'Alene -- Coeur d'Alene police and Kootenai County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a robbery at the Shopko on the 200 block of Ironwood Drive. The call came in just after 9 p.m. Wednesday. The robbery happened at the pharmacy. One suspect did have a gun. Police say the pharmacist tackled the gunman and held him down until police arrived.
While in the police car, police say the suspect suffered a seizure. They called an ambulance and he was taken to a hospital. Minutes later, another man was arrested in his parked car. Police are not saying if he is connected to the robbery but they are questioning him.
The store was is in lockdown during the investigation. Police are interviewing employees and customers. There is no word on what the gunman wanted. Nobody was hurt during the robbery.
